@tonicfunk I would give it a 10... if we were on Fallout 3

@tonicfunk if it weren't for the much larger monitor i'd say it has that trying to live off a food truck income in a cyberpunk dystopia motif :blobcatgoogly:

@tonicfunk tryin to discover who wus impostor???1?!

@tonicfunk@social.yesterweb.org I was gonna say FarCry, but then realized Doom would be absolutely the best on that tiny CRT 😁

@anotherkiwiguy
at the moment, the only cable i have to connect the pi and the tv is a composite a/v to 3.5mm (before today i had NO IDEA that that was even a thing that you could do?? i love it tho) and uhh the input lag is really something. so i expect trying to actually play a game is going to be quite an experience!!

(i have a sega genesis at home and i'm excited to try that with it tho >:D )

@tonicfunk
OMG my original reply was legit almost "pretty cool but needs moar USB Hyperkin Genesis controller"
@anotherkiwiguy

@sty whOa i actually did not know uxn existed!! this looks really cool!!

@tonicfunk
Very nice. I once played Halo on a TV that size with really good sound it was hilarious
@tonicfunk
Yeah my cousin brought his OG Xbox over one time when I was a teenager and my stepdad was being a douche as usual wouldn't let us plug it into a real TV so I was like that's fine let's go plug it into my camping TV and so I put the video RCA plug in the TV and the other two in my pretty decent PC speakers so grenades were shaking the house but we couldn't see shit
@tonicfunk
Sweet band! Look what I got on eBay recently! Battery is good for a couple days but I'm saving it for special occasions. I used to wear a silver one of these with a cheap gold plated watch band, while working at a retail store, and got constant compliments for my "Rolex"

I sent in my OG for warranty replacement and never got one back due to the company sale 😞

@tonicfunk This is making me think of the Divers 2000 combo TV/Dreamcast for some reason. Must be the Y2K-ness of this setup
